Someone loooooves the bath now!

Jude would like to tell everyone he loves to sleep all day and keep us up at night, “I doesn’t understand why mom & pop  just won’t sleep while the sun is up? ? He adds,  ”also can you let them know that my butt gets cold when they change me… it’s not so fun.”  He loves his swing, ” it makes me nappy, and I love the bottle it makes me nappy too!” “We had visitors – gramas, uncles, aunties, cousins I slept for them I was awesome ! “ 4 am is ” my favorite time of the day I love eating and pooping and eating and pooping but most of all just being rocked and swayed and bounced for about three hours! weee! Mom and dad stare at me all day and I stare back it’s awesome they also tell me i’m the most beautiful thing ever that’s also awesome.”

P.S baths are overrated.

Nick names so far, bunny bear, fussy mussy and snarfles.

He has a name!!  There is meaning to the names mostly i’ll explain when i’m not about to fall asleep on the keyy….zzzzzz

SO… everything is good with baby although he is still in NICU for a little while longer. Initially he had some fluid in his lungs when he was born that was causing some distressed breathing but it is clearing up and he will be out very soon. Hopefully tomorrow night or Wednesday at the latest. He was on a respirator for awhile but that has been removed he is now breathing easily on his own.  Apparently this is a common problem with newborn babies that are over due and born quickly. Stacey had a very good delivery all and all about 5 hours total, she didn’t need any drugs and is healing rapidly.

His little cone head is going away and he is just getting cuter and cuter, the nurse today said he looked like a little “doll”.

Stacey and I had our beautiful baby boy this morning did I say he’s beautiful! More details to come, no name chosen yet… I’ m a little tired  I’ll update the rest hopefully tomorrow;)

A wedding personally anointed by the Prime Minister Stephen Harper himself! You heard it here folks, Joel works in the office office of the Primeminester and had on display a very nice letter writen and signed by Harper himself. I can say myself with out a doubt that these two compliment each other perfectly congrats! It was a really nice day to be apart of.

Stacey and I had our late term fetal assessment this morning, she was referred because the midwives had trouble finding which way the bebeh! was facing.  It’s all good head down, moving a lot, aprox. 7.1 pounds give or take a pound.  2 weeks till her due date. Here are some images!

0808 ~ I had a wonderful day with Lucian and James and thier wedding posse! We went all over town and managed to avoid the rain, which is no small feat this summer! Beautiful couple and a joy to work with.
